Franklin Mountains, Texas, Winter Colors
Color palette from a hike in the Franklin Mountains just outside of El Paso, Texas. It was end of December 2020, during a Christmas mega roadtrip.
Screen printing is my latest obsession. I have so many art poster ideas in the pipeline, I'll have a steady stream of limited edition art prints coming. Check out my first screen printing project for now:
I'm blessed to have travelled quite a bit, and hope to do more. When I see stunning natural beauty in particular, it inspires me to inspect and investigate how these colors work together and why they seem beautiful. I will then put these colors to 'use' in sketches involving architecture or a human-built environment. I care for the 'vernacular', the uniqueness of a region. This should translate to our built environments.

end of summer event, October but still warm, stunning coastal colors, calm water, soft light, low contrast, pastel hues, serene atmosphere, subtle gradients, peaceful vibes
I'm an Irish designer and visual artist now living in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm finally getting around to uploading content here. Watch out for screen printed art posters and a blog on art, aesthetics, architecture and urban planning, web tech, and on all the travel I've been doing. My interests are wide, gonna dump a lot of interesting stuff here.
